Bran and Fruit Crunch

2 cups (60g) oat flakes and/or bran flakes Cereal with Dried Fruit

2 cups (60g) wheat bran flakes

½ cup (75g) chopped dried apricots

½ cup (80g) sultanas

½ cup (75g) sunflower seed kernels

1 cup (250mL) sweetened condensed skim milk


  1. Preheat oven to 150ºC/130°C fan forced. Line 2 oven trays with baking paper.
  2. Combine Cereal, wheat bran flakes, apricots, sultanas, kernels and sweetened condensed milk in a medium bowl; mix well. Spread flat onto prepared oven trays.
  3. Bake 45 minutes, stirring twice with a fork during baking; stir immediately after removing from oven. Cool on trays before storing in an airtight container.
  4. Serve with fresh fruit, yoghurt or milk, if desired.
